Free Advice Fridays

One of the goals upon fleeing corporate America was to contribute in a meaninful way to all those great ideas that just needed a little boost to get started. You know, the ones where friends call and say “we don’t have a great big pot of money, but we do have a great big idea.” The solution – Free Advice Fridays. For the price of a cup of coffee, KBKM President and Managing Partner Brooke McCurdy, will meet, discuss, brainstorm, problem solve, and just be a sounding board. It’s fun, it’s invigorating, and invariably, the busiest day of the week. But that’s ok. Friends we have made during Free Advice Fridays include Woodland Park Zoo (working to save the planet through conservation and education), The Chandlery (revitalizing the craft of wooden boat making), Children and Family Commission of King County (funding preventative measures to keep kids out of the juvenile justice system), the Seattle Waterfront Redevelopment (life following the dismantling of the viaduct in downtown Seattle), among others. Have a non profit that has a great big idea? Give us a call, and we’ll see if we can help. If we can’t, we’re sure we’ll be able to help you find someone who can. Either way, our goal is the same. Giving back, and making a difference, it’s all in a day’s work.
